English Chamber Orchestra joins Canterbury Choral Society for concert in Canterbury Cathedral in January

CCS and CCS Youth Choir are very excited to be joined by the English Chamber Orchestra (ECO) to perform Vivaldi Gloria and Haydn Nelson Mass on Saturday 23 January 2016.

The ECO, who’s Patron is HRH The Prince of Wales, is the most recorded chamber orchestra in the world. The ECO has been chosen to record many film soundtracks, including Dario Marianelli’s prizewinning scores for Atonement and Pride and Prejudice, as well as several James Bond sound tracks.

The ECO has performed in more countries than any other orchestra. During 2015 the ECO toured to China, Finland, the USA, Bermuda, France, Austria, Slovenia and Greece as well as giving concerts across the UK.
