Charles Rice, bass

Charles Rice will sing bass solo in Brahms’s A German Requiem (Ein deutsches Requiem) on 27 April 2013 in Canterbury Cathedral at 7.30pm.

The performance will be conducted by Richard Cooke with Canterbury Choral Society, Canterbury Choral Society Youth Choir and Canterbury Philharmonic Orchestra

Reservations: Tickets can be reserved without payment for up to four days, or 24hrs prior to the performance – whichever is soonest.
Booking fee: £2.50 on all telephone, post, internet and fax bookings. If you would like us to post your tickets to you, a postage charge of £1 will apply. There is no charge for bookings made in person, group bookings over 15 tickets or to patrons with access needs.

Charles Rice studied at the Royal Academy of Music and has just finished his studies at National Opera Studio. Charles is grateful for the support of Opera North, a Worshipful Company of Musicians Allcard Award, the William Allen Charitable Trust, The Kathleen Trust, The Kohn Foundation Vocal Scholarship and The Josephine Baker Trust. Charles was a finalist at Les Azuriales Young Artists Competition 2009 in France and winner of the Garsington Prize 2009.
