The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) will be joining Canterbury Choral Society and the CCS Youth Choir to perform Verdi’s Requiem in Canterbury Cathedral on 18th June 2016.

This year, 2016, marks the 70th anniversary of the RPO. The RPO’s platinum year started with a sixteen-concert tour in the USA in January. The Orchestra performed Mahler’s Symphony No.2, ‘Resurrection’, on 22nd March at the Royal Albert Hall

Be sure not to miss the Verdi Requiem concert with the RPO in Canterbury Cathedral June 18th. As well as this prestigious orchestra, the Verdi Requiem concert also features an impressive line-up of soloists: Soprano Judith Howarth; mezzo-soprano Katie Bray; tenor Sam Furness; and bass Michael Pearce.
