Berlioz L’Enfance du Christ is one of the most endearing and enduring scores of Berlioz’ entire output. Contrasting the deep and intense music written for the role of Herod, with the sounds of angelic choirs, all wrapped in a masterpiece of orchestral writing typical of Berlioz. This concert will also feature the Crypt Choir of the King’s School and Canterbury Choral Society Youth Choir. There is also an impressive line-up of soloists. This rarely-performed masterpiece will leave its listeners both enchanted and moved by its breadth of vision.

Concert will end at approximately 9pm.
