Sofia Larsson recently graduated from the Royal College of Music International Opera School in London, where she studied with Dinah Harris. She previously studied at the Royal Academy of Music under Philip Doghan and Audrey Hyland, on the ENO Opera Works programme and at King’s College London, where she graduated with a firstclass honours degree in Music.
Previous operatic roles include Pamina (Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte), Gretel (Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel) and Miss Wordsworth (Britten’s Albert Herring) for RCMIOS, Ginevra (Handel’s Ariodante) and Calisto (Handel’s Giove in Argo) for London Handel Festival, the title role in Holst’s Savitri for British Youth Opera and cover for Antonia and Giulietta (Offenbach’s The Tales of Hoffmann) for English Touring Opera. Forthcoming engagements include cover Anne Trulove (Stravinsky’s The Rake’s Progress) for Festival d’Aix-en-Provence and Gretel (Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel) for Pop-Up Opera.
